The Soviet and I went to Sweden for a long weekend, and as we motorcycled around I was reminded of these images by artist Simon Stålenhag.
Even though these paintings are superficially fantastic, there's a truth and beauty to them that accurately reflects the sympathetic way the Swedes integrate their built environment into the existing landscape.
It's a magical, beautiful place.
