EICMA 2013 - Yamaha T-Cross Hyper Modified

When I saw this the other day, it was the model that caught my eye, not the bike. The bike struck me as a little odd but I didn't really dwell on it...

Initially I thought it was just a display bike for an aftermarket product, then I noticed the weird looking transmission and thought it was some kind of electric bike. Then I noticed another model and lost interest in it entirely...

I'm sorry about that now. This is actually a pretty incredible bike 'cos it used to be a T-Max!

I think it's interesting that they're becoming increasingly like motorcycles, while at the other end of the scale, you have the Honda Crossrunner which is a motorcycle that's starting to look like a scooter.
