Mercenary Surface Module

So, the Mercenary Surface Module got stuck in the mud at the Paddy Dakar 'cos it's a fat bastard and it only has two-wheel drive. And it has an open diff which is the same as having only one-wheel drive. Except that all the power goes to the wheel with no grip. So it's actually no-wheel drive.

This prompted a series of modifications to prevent (or at least mitigate against) this happening again.

It started with discussions of Syncro conversions and Limited Slip Differentials, neither of which were realistic due to the cost and the amount of work involved. A cheaper and more realistic solution was quickly found by fitting Mud Terrain tyres. But that raised the issue of where to store the new larger spare wheel and things got complicated again.

So now it's a project of sorts. More to follow...
